Pint of Sussex Heritage Please

Photograph of a vintage motorcycle that I captured outside my local pub The Victoria Hotel last summer. You will of course forgive me for not knowing the make and model of the motorcycle, I should have paid closer attention here. Photographing motorcycles is not normally my thing, however on occasion they present themselves to my lens and it's a case of it would be rude not to photograph them. I am in the process of posting a few motorcycle shots that I have been saving up (you may have noticed the preceeding Vespa shots on my flickr stream), so please stay tuned for more over the next few days.

Marie from Bourne Barbers

Latest photography posted on my Ipernity Photo Stream

This photograph of Marie who works with Darren at my local barber shop "Bourne Barbers", and is part of an ongoing series of environmental portraits that I have been working on for sometime, more on this series of work on my website here

It should be noted, that the prints on the wall behind Marie are  mine, and are photos of the Barber chairs from the previous occupant of Bourne Barbers, a little local history shall we say. Needless to say, if you want a good haircut in Eastbourne,  please go and see Darren and Marie.

This photograph of Darren who runs my local barber shop, is part of an ongoing series of environmental portraits that I have been working on for sometime, more on this series of work on my website here.

I have photographed Darren and his shop a number of times as part of an exchange of services, and as a result he has used my photographs in a number of adverts that he has run in the local press. It should be noted, that the prints on the wall behind Darren are mine, and are photos of the Barber chairs from the previous occupant of Darren shop, a little local history shall we say.  Needless to say, if you want a good haircut in Eastbourne, Darren is your man, please visit his Facebook page here
