Further additions to another ongoing project for me called Caravans and Campers, which is essentially an off shoot to my "Exploring the Automobile" series of photographs. Caravans and Campers evoke a number of memories, and in particular the more retro and vintage looking they are, (maybe there is something here that takes me back to my childhood) as my parents owned a vintage VW Kombi split screen that we used to go away in.
The first two photographs in these latest additions were taken just outside Portslade Harbour. The first is a scene with a caravan, a Korean Ssang Jong and what appears to be a Road Side Cafe. The second scene is of a Leyland Sherpa (very rare now) parked outside the gravel works. The third (Black and White) of a caravan partially concealed in the woods was taken in a location just outside Hailsham. The space age looking camper from another planet is a custom built Orion Zeta which I captured in a Sainsburys car park in Newhaven(base vehicle is a Mercedes Van).
